Work from Home Supplies: Grad School Edition
Since so many of you read my list of school supplies for graduate students, I thought I would throw together a little list as we all adjust to life at home.
I have been getting dressed in cute outfits daily, but nobody says you cannot be comfy even in a cute outfit. Black leggings are the answer obviously. I like these from Madewell and for a splurge, I as always recommend Universal Standard. Both are size inclusive and very comfy—great for pairing with sweaters, oversized tee shirts, and dresses.
Slippers are a must in my apartment (cat litter!!) and I just got these cute ones from Ugg cheaper line
I cannot work braless, but these Tomboyx bras are the next best thing IMO. I got a rainbow of them.
Get an Air Purifier. Not because it will protest you from Corona Virus, but because you are spending so much time inside. It will help with air quality, smell, etc. We have and love this one from Alen though we did get it very on sale.
Get some headphones for all of those zoom calls or maybe just get this receiver
I am writing lots of cute letters to all my friends and family. I picked up some new Rifle Paper stationary plus some cute stuff from my local shop Paper and Craft Pantry.
This little table (with wheels) has become essential for doing work from home stuff when I get sick of my desk!
I have tried a thousand fitness apps and have settled on Love Sweat Fitness. I also like Sweat and Pitt28.
My Paper planner has been essential right now. I am using a weekly Simplified Planner. The new ones are released so soon.
Not that I ever actually do my hair, but these slip silk hair ties are much nicer to your hair when you are putting it in a ponytail
please institute coloring breaks into your life. Do it with these colored pencils from Prismacolor and the free coloring page downloads from Bookishly Uk.
Since your hands are dry from overwashing (right?) get this lotion from the laundress, designed for people doing housework.
