Ban.do Mystery Bag Review/Unboxing

I’ve gotten Ban,do Mystery Bags before (as part of their Warehouse Sale), though this one far exceeded my expectations! Usually I get a fun mix of stuff, but I often end up gifting much of it (which is great and why I like it). This time I expect to keep most of it though! To be completely honest, I had a lot of rewards points so I only ended up paying around 10 dollars for my Mystery Bag. But on to the items!
Usually, the items in the Mystery Bags are also featured in their Warehouse Sale (full of steep steep discounts). This mug is still retailing for full price! It’s a super fun “stay home” theme and also a really good size -I hate small mugs.
Do I need another planner? Absolutely not. But I was delighted to receive this gem. It’s dated from August 2020-December 2021 so there is still almost a full year left in this cute mini planner. But what i love most about Ban.do planners is the art and I fully plan on deconstructing this for art projects/prints/etc. But if you wanted a new planner, there is still so much time left in this one! I’ve never actually gotten a planner in a mystery bag before and am super excited.
First things first, this pen is super cute. On one end it’s a standard ball point (though a very nice and smooth one) but if you pull the edge of the cap off it is a little smiley face stamper! It is adorable and not something I would think to purchase, but I love it A LOT. I could see this being really fun for teachers especially. It’s not available at Ban.do anymore, but you can still grab it on amazon.
This guy is a little silly but I have been wanting (and forgetting) to grab a wine stopper and why not make it cute? It’s a pretty sturdy metal too.
I have gotten luggage tags from Ban.do before, but this one feels far higher quality. still obviously not leather or anything fancy, but it doesn’t feel so plastic. It is kind of mocking me with the promise of future travel, but hoping i will get to use it as soon as we all get vaccinated.
This is a cute little card case that was apparently a collab with Benefit (of brow fame). It’s not exactly my style, but it does feel like decent quality and could be a cute gift I think.
Overall, I absolutely felt this was worth the little money I spent on it with rewards points and would have been worth it even at full price (25 dollars). The mug is still retailing for around 15 and the planner around 10 (and those go for much more in season)—so even those two items make it worth the cost. It’s a fun little surprise and I got lots of cute things that I would not have thought to buy myself!
